Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address typed in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that powers the result service. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message so we can respond.
Routine Technical Data
Hosting systems may create ordinary logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use aggregated operational information to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement where offered.
How Information Is Used
Contact information is used to answer the message that supplied it. Technical information is used to operate, secure, and improve the service. We do not sell a visitor's search terms or contact-message contents as a directory product.
Links Beyond Our Service
Spring Hill Residents Directory links to city, county, Tennessee, library, archive, and other outside sources. Each outside organization controls its own forms, privacy practices, cookies, and record-access requirements. Review that source's policy before submitting information.
Service Providers
Hosting, analytics, search, or advertising providers may process limited data as needed to perform their service. They receive information under their own terms and applicable law. We do not control information a visitor independently gives to an official records custodian.
Security Practices
Reasonable safeguards are used for the small amount of operational information involved, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not submit sensitive identifiers, protected addresses, financial information, or vital-record documentation through a general contact message.
Visitors Under 18
The service is not designed to collect information from children under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a child provided personal information through a contact channel, they may request that it be reviewed and removed where it is held by us.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on your circumstances, you may seek access, correction, deletion, portability, or an opt-out concerning data held by a qualifying private controller. Tennessee's Information Protection Act, TCA Title 47, Chapter 18, Part 33, took effect July 1, 2025 and applies subject to its thresholds and exceptions. Because this service retains little personal data, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs. Use the Contact page. Government-held public records are controlled by their custodian and Tennessee Public Records Act procedures, not by this service.
Policy Changes
We may revise this policy if operations or legal requirements change. The current version applies when posted. Continued use after an update means the visitor accepts the revised policy.
